Decisions

We have recently been going through quite a busy period with lots of things ticking over in work, lots of youngsters seemingly open to taking a step in their journey with God. That has been really positive. In the last couple of days I have had a few opportunities put my way to do additional things outside of my work at the church and schools. They are really exciting but having got over the initial excitement I am now more aware of the need to evaluate these before replying. It is so easy to say yes and then regret it. I recently read What Matters Most by Doug Fields, and while it said nothing that I didn't really already know it was helpful to be challenged again to have the guts to say no - as the strapline says - when no is better than yes.
