Summer might be here

At the moment I am writing this as the sun streams through the window, sitting in summer clothes (t-shirt, shorts and flip flops!). Summer has made it to Essex, at least for a few days. Being British the weather is an important topic of conversation, and according to the BBC weather forecast it is looking good for the next few days. Hopefully the football pitches that we use at the school where I run an after-school football club will be slightly less muddy as it has been rather excessive recently.
