Time off - shopping and BBQs

Tuesday, May 29, 2007

Today has been one of those days off where for periods of time you don't feel like you are relaxing or getting anything done, which is insanely frustrating, or when loads seems to be happening. I've managed to get an eye test booked for Thursday which is good, given I don't seem to have had one for nearly six years; I got us a new deal for our contents and buildings insurance which saved us over £200; we had Hannah's parents for dinner, and I went to Lakeside with her mum, and got some new trainers to replace my ones which have fallen to bits, a new notebook to journal with, and a couple of big plates to serve desserts on.
I have spent some time this evening researching BBQs. Hannah and I would like a BBQ for home, we aren't too sure whether to go for traditional charcoal or slightly easier to use gas. Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations for BBQs, please do leave comments.

I thought all men turned caveman-like in the summer and fire-any kind of fire-suits you pyromaniac types. That being the case - any kind of BBQ will do!!!!
Having said that, the honorable Mr G prefers charcoal but then he never did like the easy life - it's why he married me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr G certainly didn't want the easy life - but he does do a good BBQ so who can complain.

The reason it is man cooking is because there is little clearing up, and you can burn it and still call it good cooking!

Looking after Maisy was a pleasure, we will happily do it again.
