Challenge of C.S. Lewis
Saturday, June 09, 2007
This is a really thought provoking snippet from C.S. Lewis:
"The Church exists for nothing else but to draw men into Christ, to make them little Christs. If they are not doing that, all the cathedrals, clergy, missions, sermons, even the Bible itself, are simply a waste of time. God became man for no other purpose."
Are we just creating something that is a waste of time, or are we succeeding in drawing people to Christ, and (and how I love this phrase) making them little Christs?
