YouTube has announced local versions of its web site for 9 countries: Brazil, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the UK. It will give the UK its own home page, and more usefully specific video rankings and comments, as well as the Video, Channel and Categories sections. It will be interesting to see if this is any use in searching for that elusive top clip for a youth event!
