Floods in Croydon

Today it has rained lots, and lots, and lots. In Brentwood, where I live, we only really had rain this morning, although there was a lot of it, but by the afternoon it was lovely again. Where I grew up in Croydon, they had masses of rain, on the edge of Croydon they had over 14 foot of water! Here is a picture of the road I often used to go along with lots of water on it:
