Old people are grumpy

Research by scientists has discovered that older people may not be able to help being grumpy. A study by Washington University in St Louis found older people find it harder to understand jokes than students. The research sounds a bit random - the showed jokes and cartoons to some students and some old people and measured which age group picked the correct punch line. Doesn't sound like the best scientific theory ever.
