Miss England has her identity stolen on MySpace

Someone has posted false details about Miss England on MySpace which she claims makes her sound "thick" and "tarty". Model Georgia Horsley, of North Yorks, wants MySpace to take down the bogus profile which claims she does not read and lists Katie Price as her hero. She said: "It is scary to think someone has stolen my ID."
This is just another case in the way in which ID fraud seems to happen so easily on the web. Certainly something we should encourage all our young people to be aware of when using social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook.
