Radiohead fans choose cost of next album
Tuesday, October 09, 2007
Radiohead fans will be able to choose how much to pay for the band's next album, In Rainbows, which is available for download tomorrow. Instead of listing a price for the music, the group's website simply states "it's up to you" - and then adds: "No really, it's up to you."
What a fantastic idea - often physical CDs are completely overpriced - particularly in the UK - so it is good to see someone who isn't in desperate need of the money allowing people to set their price.
