Care offer new Family resource for Christmas

Saturday, November 24, 2007

With Christmas just around the corner, Care for the Family has launched a new online resource to help families survive the busy Christmas period.
“Christmas – how can you make the most of it” includes tips and advice on how to make sure that the festive season is one of joy rather than stress for people in every walk of life, including single parents, step families, and those celebrating Christmas alone.
It also includes advice for those families that may have suffered the loss of a loved one since last Christmas.
“It might not be the Christmas you have 'always had', but it may give you a positive and memorable family time that you can build on in the years to come,” said Care for the Family. The charity’s Community Development Manager, Richard Hardy, said: "Christmas can be the most wonderful time of the year, but for some it can be daunting, stressful, depressing and a financial squeeze.

“This free online resource gives helpful advice and tips whatever your circumstances. We hope it will help many who find this time of year difficult, a little easier."
