Kid Nation - a dangerous experiment???

Wednesday, September 19, 2007

Kid Nation has it's first airing today and it certainly looks slightly off the wall. The concept of the experiment sounds really interesting, but the young people seem young, and the implication is that there isn't much supervision, but then again how much supervision is there in other reality style programmes that involve children. Is this just the company trying to gain more publicity by not releasing any comment - for all we know it could be really well supervised. Certainly one to watch and see the fuller picture.

I'm sure it is extremely well supervised. There's probably more supervision for those kids than they've ever seen before in their lives. It's just off camera.

It seems to be the way these days. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to catch the programme on telly so I can't really comment any further.
